Lance's NADAC Trial!
We start off the new year with a bang! Lance attended his first NADAC trial, 3rd day of agility overall, on Sunday. I only entered him in novice jumpers and tunnelers to avoid any contacts or weaving until I'm satisified with his contact performance. We waited all day but had a blast!
I am so pleased with how we did! Both courses had multiple crosses which Lance read nicely and he ran fast too! We made 4.9yps in jumpers and 5.5 in tunnelers :) I was especially pleased on the opening of our tunnelers run as Lance sped by me and kept going without any looking back or hesitation! We are getting some really nice obstacle focus on the corgi.
Nice runs and congrats on the Q's!!
YAY!! Loved that video. He was just lightning speed in that tunnelers run, so friggin' cute! But in the most awesome way. You two look like a great team out there.
I wish one of the agility organizations around here had tunnelers. Sure looks like fun.
Lance was AWESOME! Huge congrats!
Thats wonderful. Glad you had a good first NADAC experience.
We loved watching you on the course! Like a super pro!! We know that takes a lot of practice, and are so impressed!!!!! YaaahhhH!
Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,

Ya know, when we first started doing agilities and watching agilities movies and seeing the jumpers competition, momma thought "oh how easy, just jumps!"
But last week at agilities our teacher put together a course of 17 jumps and it was sooooo hard! I tried to pay attention, but momma was not always clear in what jump was next and given there were other obstacles scattered about I sometimes made her decisions for her. Even after four tries we couldn't get it right.
You are my hero.
Kisses,
Dexter
Congrats Lance!!! That was fantastic!!
aww keep at it Dexter. it sucks when you have a not so bright handler, but we all have that at times. I'm lucky mom tries to run really fast and usually can get there on time ok. but Vito's not always so fortunate.

Wow, really cool! First, congrats on the Qs AND the first places!
Also, thanks for posting this! I don't know much about agility- I never thought Maisy would be able to do it. Lately, though, she's been surprising me with her reduced fear. Six months ago, tunnels were dog-eating objects, and yesterday, she was tearing through tunnels- even curved ones! Anyway, the video helped me see that while we might not be able to do full agility courses, we could maybe do tunnelers!
Lance looks so cute with his ribbon. :)
Crystal- I think agility really helps to build confidence! a course full of tunnels is the ultimate in fun :)
