Well it's official. Chuck has been matched with a client as a mobility assist dog pending the results of his xrays. They will hopefully be starting work at the end of the month.

Good luck Chuck!!
That's so exciting.
The one puppy I had been a puppy raiser for for the Seeing Eye (that we had to give back; apparently my dog wanted to be an only dog and didn't like the puppy) went on to be an awesome guide dog. They had a big article about him in a local paper.
Aw, no more labradork.
That is so exciting!! And sad! I will miss him! Will we get updates about how he's doing with his new partner/buddy?
That is cool for Chuck!
Awwww, that's wonderful! Congrats Chuck, and to you for doing so much to get him where he is.
Aww, lots of luck to Chuck! I am sure he will be a great success in his new role. Congratulations!
what a lovely start he's had thanks to you :) I've so enjoyed reading his story too BIG pats to him :)
You've done a nice job with him! He will do great.
I just saw the lightswitch video of Chuck. Labs are extremely easy to train and sweet dogs. So wasn't Chuck your dog? Was he with you just for training?
I was puppy raising Chuck for a service dog organization. He was matched with a person and has begun work with them as their mobility assist dog. Now I have Fiona who I am puppy raising for them.
